What to do after receiving your salvation
1. Start reading the bible.
God was so eager to talk with you that He wrote many letters to you before you were born. Sixty-six, to be exact. The Bible is a collection of love letters to us from God. It feeds our spirit. It gives us courage, strength, and comfort. It teaches, corrects, and trains us so that we may be thoroughly equipped for life.

However, sometimes it can be overwhelming because there's so much! Where should you start? We recommend starting in the book of Matthew. It's the first book of what we call the New Testament. Start there and read one chapter a day. Doing that you will read the whole New Testament in one year!

A physical Bible is a wonderful thing to have, but you can start reading and listening to it now with the free YouVersion Bible app. It has a large collection of different translations and versions of the Bible, even audio versions. We highly recommend it! You can download it here.
2. Receive the baptism of the holy spirit
The Lord has the gift of the Holy Spirit ready for you! After we receive our salvation, we need to receive what's called the Baptism of the Holy Spirit the same way. When Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to heaven to be with God the Father, He sent the Holy Spirit to supernaturally empower and equip Christians to fulfill God's assignment on their life. The New Testament church is meant to be a people equipped with the full resources of the Holy Spirit’s power to actively represent the authority of our King, Jesus, extending that kingdom authority throughout the earth until He returns.

3. GROW YOUR faith
Faith is imperative to a successful Christian life. Scripture says that the righteous live by faith. It also says that without faith, it is impossible to please God. So, it's vitally important! Moore Life Ministry's "Faith School" is made for people just starting to learn about faith. It's easy to understand and a great place to learn about and grow your faith.

4. LEARN ABOUT HOW MUCH GOD LOVES YOU!
God the Father loves you as much as He loves Jesus! That may sound hard to believe, but it's true. Jesus said it Himself! When we become a Christian by receiving our salvation, God puts His love in us. That love isn't just the feeling of affection most of us associate with love. It's an infinite source of life and light. When we learn more about God's love for us and begin to gain an understanding of it, it activates God's faith in us and causes us to grow closer and deeper in Him.

5. Find a church
It's​ very important to find a group of other Christians, a church, with like minded believers so we can be an encouragement to each other. God cares deeply that you find a good church and He will guide you to exactly where you need to be. Look for churches near you and visit them. God will give you peace when you find the right church, so follow that peace! Then, when you find your church, start serving at that church.
